"Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you."
....wow. Am I evil? Yes...haha. But seriously if I just reflect on the past week and things that I've said I am ashamed to say the least. I also complain to myself A LOT. I could go on and on about my issues with my tongue but that pretty much sums it up. I guess when I think about it I got this idea that this is america and I have a right to rant and say what I want and whoever is listening can kiss my butt. When it comes to walking the walk I should probably be more concerned with my brother and lifting him up in my speech than wanting to rant about nonsense. So it boils down to who do I care more about, me? or my brothers and sisters (everyone else)? Obviously for the past 23 years the answer has been moi. This is something that requires effort so I better get started and get praying.
