While I feel like I'm somewhat in isolation due to my approach to well...life. Being out here on the fringes of society (relational wise) I have found love in unexpected places. As a devout christian I've accepted that the kingdom is within me because God's Holy Spirit is within me. So it's becoming more apparent to me that wherever I go the kingdom follows and if I serve and love everyone and everywhere I will begin to see the Lord move in mysterious awesome ways. For instance, I enjoy serving and I've found that when I serve people that are not christians *bam* the kingdom comes down and we have...well...fellowship! It opens the door to someones heart when they see you doing things that will help them. Mind you I serve because God put it on my heart not to manipulate my way to "spreading the gospel" or something...I'm a servant not necessarily a street preacher. This attitude of serving non-christians can really make some christians uncomfortable but I have really felt lead in this direction so pray for me if I'm being erroneous! I'm starting to think that God has placed me out here so that I can truly appreciate all people and all forms of relationships I have. It's hard when most of your life you've taken people for granted and the moment you desperately want a ton of close deep friendships it's as if you're a leper! Ok I'm being dramatic but yeah I've felt a bit lonely. For a LONG time I've been wanting a nice wise godly older woman to come along and say "Hey you! You look worth my time let me pray with you and invest spiritually in you and share my wisdom so that you won't make the mistakes many women make." But for some reason (maybe my pickiness with people) that woman has not come along. But I do think scripture talks about older women teaching younger women for a good reason so I will continue to pray for an accountability partner of sorts and maybe God will bless me with one. Until then I'm fortunate enough to have a very wise set of parents and they continually bless me with their prophetic comments that most times are nonchalant but sink deep into my spirit. The desert has a way of making you realize how much you need others no matter what measure of faith they have or how annoying they can be. I guess thats it for now...Thank you Lord for taking the time to prune me to be more like you <3
