The Lord is God
The Lord is true
The Lord does not falter
Who are we to say who God is and what He is capable of? It's amazing to me that our understanding and revelation of God comes from Him! I've met many people who don't get it. They don't get God. And I wonder "Why is it hard for them to see what is seemingly undeniable?". Time and time again God reminds me that He chooses us first. He determines what we see (spiritually speaking). I don't want to get into the debate of calvinism/predestination and all that, but I do feel that I'm being reminded of scripture.
" This is what God the LORD says—
the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out,
who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it,
who gives breath to its people,
and life to those who walk on it:
“I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness;
I will take hold of your hand.
I will keep you and will make you
to be a covenant for the people
and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind,
to free captives from prison
and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. “I am the LORD; that is my name!
I will not yield my glory to another
or my praise to idols. See, the former things have taken place,
and new things I declare;
before they spring into being
I announce them to you.”
Oh how limited we can be when we simply read something. When we just read what someone says. Can the love and yearning that God has for us be fully conveyed through the bible alone? I pray that my generation can experience what God says. That they can experience Gods intense desire to have a marriage with Him. I pray that we can get it. He won't relent until He has all of our hearts. I am so grateful that God doesn't give up on me. And I know that I know that He won't give up on you. <3
